Folk Artist Pat Brown first discovered his gift about 10 years ago when he started to shape scrap pieces of wood into a variety of different fish. His work includes fish that could be found in local Southern Illinois lakes, rivers, and streams. Since his daughter moved to Northwest Washington state he now creates pieces that are found in that region. His fish folk art includes both two and three dimensional pieces and paintings. In addition, he has used a number of other ways to present his work.
